Hey TG Users!
First, I want to apologize for neglecting this channel over the last month... I am planning to set up a bot soon with a new TG announcements channel so that Discord announcements automatically get posted there as well.
Until then, here are some quick updates:
1. Community Improvement Proposal (CIP)-1 and CIP-2 recently passed with flying colors! This means that Jade is finally re-branding as a DAO with more robust DAO tooling. What does this mean for you? Once our governance platform is live, you will be able to chat in token-gated forums, see the fund report, propose ideas for CIPs and receive support via a ticketing system! All without needing to connect your wallet to Discord! We will be using a Web3 website similar to Commonwealth, which uses a sign transaction (no fee) to simply check your wallet balance of sJADE to assign you certain levels of access. More info to come at the end of this month re: the beta test of that platform. I will be sure to post here so people can try it out if they want!
2. DexPools (our first seed-investment) re-branded as Vela Exhcange! If you want to learn more, read their whitepaper or visit their website to sign up for their beta test. Rumor has it there will be some news coming soon via their Twitter account about the beta launch!
3. As previously discussed, the JADE floor price continues to be adjusted downward due to inflation from the SMRTr bonding event. As of October 1st, 2022, the floor price for JADE was adjusted to $15.58. I will be sure to post here 7 days before the next change on November 1st, so everyone has a chance to redeem if they want.
